Margalef is a tiny village in the Catalonia region of northeast Spain. It's surrounded by cliffs made of conglomerate, a type of sedimentary rock composed of smaller rocks, minerals and other materials squished together and hardened over millenia. As it turns out, conglomerate can be full of pockets and when it is you are looking at some fantastic climbing walls. Alex Gorham, Tom Bolger, and Lynne Malcom have all come to Margalef to work off a bit of that pesky Christmas weight. It's not all pain and gain, though. With a cushy campsite and nearby amenities the gang are loving their new training grounds. Watch them pull through classic routes like Memoria Histerica and Amb pal no dona pal. Also make sure you've got some vacation time on the way -- you're going to want to go to Spain after seeing this. If You Like Pocketed Sport Climbing You'll Love Margalef | Europe's Best Crags, Ep. 6
